@jexicon Actually if we’re simply sticking to the facts, Hyundai is number
3 in the WhatCar Reliability survey for 2013 which was conducted in
conjunction with Warranty Direct who pay out thousands of claims each year.
It wasn’t a small sample either it was over 50,000 car owners. Skoda is
number 14 on the list. And just some additional info, I’m a 2013 BMW 320D M
sport Convertible driver, I also have no problem admiting that BMW is
actually number 26 on the list. The Japs and Koreans are now becoming top
for reliabliity.

Try and check skoda’s cars from 15 years ago…. what a good sight to
see!!!!! Why can’t people admit that some Asian brands are offering good
products?!?! Warranties from 5 to 7 years… would you warranty your
product like that if it was a bad product?!?!?!?…..

Man Garibay says:

You might be right, Hyundai is stealing customers from Toyota, Honda, and
Nissan left and right, but it is not very likely to see a German car buyer
to cross shop Asian brands, besides they are kind of pricey too. I remember
the Hyundai Excel, Kia Sephia, and Sportage, they were all under $15,000.
now they are all almost over 30 grand, and for those prices I’ll take a, 2
or 3 year old German car.
