I’m pretty sure that the Hyundai is the Santa Fe Sport… You guys
should’ve comepared the Sorento to the regular Santa Fe.

Hyundia?

2:55 what happened to the rear wiper?

I imagine that because the Kia is newer it has the new new 2.0 turbo that
we saw in the redesigned Sonata. Though it makes less power, I recall
hearing that it achieves peak performance at lower revs and maintains it
for longer, which could explain why it beat out the lighter, more powerful
competition.

As for my opinion on these types of cars, they’re not for me. Plenty of
people are probably going to be quick to ridicule them, but the fact is
plenty of folks want the long warranty and loads of tech at a reasonable
price. Yes, you loose a lot in terms of actual driving dynamics, but some
people don’t care about that.

Bruce Solomon says:

I recently drove both the Kia Optima and a Hyundai Santa Fe and I can
honestly say that I’ve never been so bored behind the wheel. My ’76
Chevette was more fun! It had direct manual steering. If Hyundai becomes
the first manufacturer to produce an all autonomously driving vehicle there
will be no loss in driving pleasure from their products!

TJ HAMMERSLAND says:

Would’ve been nice to see if changing the driver would’ve resulted in the
same results or the exact same?

xienon says:

Appreciate the hard work in terrible conditions

Bruce Solomon says:

Kia v Hyundia. A slug v a turtle. ZZZZZZ Who’s the loser? Everything’s
lost!

not be the best in the world but enthusiasm is contagious

45k for a Kia Sorento?

Adam McGee says:

Oh good an SUV drag race, now I know which vehicle to buy my wife. She’ll
never be late for soccer practice again! (Sarcasm)

Mario Master 02 says:

This is why I love TFL car. They put hyundais in race tracks

Yippie says:

45K for a Kia? Ridiculous. Last week I saw on the VW dealership lot a brand
new 2015 Touareg Diesel, retailing for 53K, but they were offering 5K off.
For 48K it is a way better SUV than that KIA is even if it had less
features. Granted, you might be able to find the KIA cheaper too, but that
KIA is still priced close to some premium SUV’s. I think 40K loaded would
be more appropriate.

bilal Juma says:

Sorento looks alot better than santa fe and alot expensive, hyundai looks
cheap but i do like hyundai santa fee :)

Dequavis Hardaway says:

Its probably different gear ratios

it took me a while to figure out the keyboard commando is really an

and nothing about the uk

AntsAfan301 says:

Id prefer the hyundai. And why are peoole complaining amd being
sarcastic… just dont watch the vid if you dont like the vehicles. Some
people actually might be considering these and every review cant be of a
mustang or corvette or gtr

anewacc says:

Thanks for doing the mashup I suggested ! Might have been a coincidence but
thanks anyway ! Did you guys workout why the Kia is quicker?

maybe they should have swapped cars for one of the drag races just in one
of them has different driving techniques. although it might not have
changed anything.
