Mostly highway driving in L.A., so pretty much stop and go traffic.

TheSpritz0 says:

OK, I can’t BELIEVE Toyota hasn’t upgraded this model to a really good
6-speed auto, or CVT as the fuel economy numbers would be much better than
even now!!!

ThinkOutsideTheCube says:

Uhm… excuse me Aaron. The Yaris is not the smallest Toyota you can buy,
the Scion iQ (known over seas as the Toyota iQ) holds that position,
although the Yaris is the cheapest. One more thing, the Yaris doesn’t
compete with the Spark. Chevy Spark is a “mini” car, competing with the
likes of the Scion iQ and Fiat 500. From Chevrolet the Yaris would compete
with the Sonic. You’re not really living up to your Cheap Car Expert name
title now are you?

anymore on Autobytel.

4 speed automatic, April Fools?

Kristoff Kristoffersun says:

You know I always thought of the Scion brand as Toyota’s aim at the youth
buyers market, but now that Toyota cars are starting to look alot like
scions and cost about the same too i.e. Camry, Corolla, and Yaris… what’s
the point of Scion?!

Great reviews

Tor Guy says:

This is what you call a review, not like the other reviewers on Autobytel
that try to make a sales pitch.

Thumbs up

Loïc Flamey says:

35 mpg??? That is unacceptable, here in Europe these cars get almost 80 mpg
in the diesel models

I like this guy. Value is my #1 criteria too.

Dino Siopongco says:

I like this guy. Very fun to watch even with supposedly boring discussions
and very informative as well! You’d make a great salesman, sir!

zhammmy says:

Hmmm, a 5M/T is not out-dated at all, a 4A/T is.

mshl8188 says:

Thank you so much ‘Cheap Car Expert’. Nice review.

dave dunn says:

I had a v6

dave dunn says:

Toyota sux. I had a venza as my first toyota and will never buy another one
again. Their powertrains are old, they have poor put together interiors
with panel gaps and cheap materials even on the expensive cars. They are
also ugly and bland.
