The 2014 Hyundai Equus is an exceptional value for the dollar. Although Hyundai is not a prestige brand like Mercedes or BMW; instead it’s a value brand. The…

This guy needs to pause after having said three words, each time. Very
irritating and boring as well.

Ramon says:

Oh you are right… I was comparing it to my 98 boxster, Porsche, which has
300k miles and reeks of sex. Sorry for pissing all over your cheaply made
hyundai with circuit failures and relative car troubles X2… I am sooo
glad I did my research before purchasing a vehicle!

Scott Steiner says:

why those asians always produce such knock offs, be unique and create your
own style unstead of producing faceless copies

D CH says:

#1:JUNK!!!!!!

Lauro Machado says:

Nice that here in Brasil this car costs 160.000 dollars. What a nice price!
That’s why I’ve only seen here it once. Nobody will ever buy this car here
when you can buy a nice audi or bmw for a little bit more

Marat galstyan says:

to much for a korean car might as well spend it on a German or Japanese car

John Kim says:

Genesis coupe, affordable and awesome coupe. I love hyundai!

crazyhasek3921 says:

What up West Windsor! Hey, let me drive one of your review cars!

bowlofarthritus says:

I work at a Hyundai dealership. Ive obviously driven the Equus…. My take?
Nothing more than an overloaded Genesis sedan. They both have the 5.0
engine, chassis, and similar luxury functions for the passengers. The rear
IS missing in its center console the audio functions however. The Equus is
nice, but I personally wouldn’t pay 70 for it. Id say maybe 50-55 for one
of them

mark marshall says:

those shifts were butter smooth

Daban Yaseen says:

Hyundai Equus or Kia Quoris

Florin H says:

It looks like your in West Windsor New Jersey. I recognized the
traffic-cirle on Alexander Road. Am I right? :)

AMBASSSIDOR says:

Or UDO

attcenter says:

This car looks just as boring as the guy doing the review

methunshow says:

Man! they copied Mercedes S Class…but at $62,000 I’d take a cert preowned
S Class…the real thing.

Ramon says:

Hyundai has always been crap. You want the best in the business? PORSCHE

AMBASSSIDOR says:

UFO

vancouveror says:

don’t be jealous..
toyo corolla or honda civic riders.. or cheap jap cars followers !!

Lauro Machado says:

Billy Sou says:

Dan — I see the only direct competitor as the Cadillac XTS. (Ultimate
luxury without the luxury price.) Some could compare the Equus with Lexus
LS, Jaguar XJ, BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class, but those luxury names
fully loaded costs almost double of that of the Equus.

fkoontz says:

Excellent!

MPGomatic says:

Thanks for the critique, cshlomotday! I’m working on fast talking versions
of my reviews that will cut them down to 27 seconds.

MrRockfish5 says:

Wow. Dan cleans up nice

ahmed mido says:

this directly competes with da LS 460L … not audi, merc. or bmw !! . for
a looong time, lexus was considered a better value luxurious car, these
times have passed away … it’s time for hyundai to take its place now !!

Jean-samuel boisvert says:

Also, this car is good for it’s price even if the exterior looks like a
35k$ car. Hyundai are making good progress. But it’s no way near a BMW 7
series or a Mercedes S-Class, from the design, the performance, the
technology and the quality of the product. But for the price it looks
pretty decent, my only concern is the quality of the materials. I can’t
talk from the video and I havent seen one in person, so until then I cant
say if it is really the deal.

Boris Terekidi says:

Genesis sedan is the competitor of E-Class and A6. This is going against
A8, 7-series BMW, S-class.

Vihan Desilva says:

woah theyre doing the review on the road right next to my neighborhood
complex :O

disracenboi336 says:

Over 10.000 equus have been sold in the US, excluding fleet.
Congratulations Hyundai.

Tom Anderson says:

And you are willing to pay that for a glorified Toyota (lexus)… these
fucks hare hilarious they think they drive a Toyota, Honda, Nissan. GM and
they think they are the shit! when u own a bugatti or Porsche then you will
having bashing rights until then buy ur fucking Toyota!!

tailsiswatching says:

This is why some think people only buy a 328i over an Accord because of the
badge.

Captain Cocoa Puffs says:

Won’t say it’s not a nice car. But I will say I’d never pay $66K for a
Hyundai.

piyaji840 says:

No doubt it’s a great full of features car but again 66k for Hyundai
Nope!!!!

Tony Tanti says:

did they make a new logo…is that an eagle

Min Seok Shin says:

A bit boring reviewer, but still great. I think he explains & reviews and
gives opinions well thought out.

David Ferrari says:

Korean technology is so advanced.

TheSantiayo says:

you can get an 2014 e550 for the base price of that

Gwynne66 says:

Creating a new brand is a waste of money and doesn’t actually accomplish
anything. In any case, for the badge-snobs, Hyundai offers unique Equus
badges that replace the Hyundai “H”.

Felipe Neves says:

carrao bonito

Sam Hingorani says:

its true… i saw one on the road and i turn my head… i know what it is
but its actually something you dont see often unlike Mercedes. BMW, or
Audi… plus just the badge is very nice

walkthepark says:

i have test driven this car, and it’s a very good one at that. for the
money you can’t beat this car. unfortunately it wont sell like an
LS/S-Class/7 Series/A8 only because of the badge. when/if hyundai comes up
with their own luxury brand, then this car will become competitive.
